In the neighboring Jodhpura-Mohanpura village, the indefinite protest by the villagers against the illegal heavy blasting by Mohanpura-based UltraTech Cement Company near the population continued for the 148th consecutive day on Thursday. It is noteworthy that illegal heavy blasting is being done near the population by Mohanpura based Ultratech Cement Company. The villagers say that they are neither being rehabilitated. Along with this, there is an atmosphere of fear due to blasting and installation of crushers near the population. Neither their village has been acquired by the company management nor they are being rehabilitated. The villagers are continuously demanding to stop blasting and mining near the population. The protestors alleged that the sisters and daughters of the village were coming towards the protest from the village. Then a truck driver of the company used abusive language with him. After which the villagers informed the policemen present there, then the police took the driver to the police station. The villagers also told that on Thursday, in the presence of the police administration, the company tried to block the road leading to the family deity Peer Baba by barricading it. Which the villagers did not allow to barricade while protesting. The protestors told that a new crusher unit is being set up by the UltraTech Cement Plant adjacent to the abadi. The villagers have been protesting since the day it was auspicious. From where the police administration removed the villagers, there was no way earlier. The road was forcibly made overnight due to the sit-in demonstration, which the villagers are protesting against. Sangharsh Samiti President Satyam Surelia says that 10 days ago, the UltraTech Cement administration tried to take material related to crusher construction by making a road illegally 10 days ago. During this, Committee President Satyam Surelia, Vice President Narendra Yadav, Kailash Yadav, Dinesh Yadav, Hariram Yadav, Nihal Yadav, Satpal Yadav, Prabhudayal, Kishori Lal, Manoj Yadav, Vishnu Sorela, Harbhagat Narwal, Prakash Yadav, Rakesh Khola, Shimbhu Yogi, Ranjit Yogi, Madan Yogi, Jaisingh Yadav, Mulayam Yadav, Ashok Yadav, Bhup Singh Dhanka, Jitendra Diamond, Ramswaroop Sain, Kanaram Yadav, Suresh Sharma, Santalal, Raju Panch, Kailash Yadav, Subesingh, Sankesh Yogi, Harbhagat, Laxminarayan, Jairam, Geeta Devi , Kamla Devi, Mamta Devi, Meva Devi, Urmila Devi, Suman Devi, Sarita Devi, Kalavati Devi, Sheela Devi and a large number of women and men were present.
